Schedule Queue List

If you have an integrated ESP, when you make your email plan those emails will be automatically scheduled.

The number of lists are being scheduled, determines on how long this will take.

To keep the system from overloading your ESP, there is a built in queue system that schedules 5 lists every minute.

For example, if you have 10 lists and you schedule for one week that would be 70 lists being scheduled. This would take approximately 14 minutes.

You can check the progress of the scheduling on the Schedule Queue List page.

If any lists don’t get scheduled, it will show the number of lists that failed.

The most common reason for a failure is having your template integrated with a list on your ESP that either doesn’t have any subscribers or is showing zero subscribers as some ESPs need lists/segments refreshed to show actual count.

Failures can also occur if you have links in your email that are listed on serious blacklists such as Spamhaus. The ESP may reject the message causing the failure on Send Planner.

You can always re-run the same schedule and see if there are any failures again. If there are, it is most certainly on the ESP side. If there aren’t any failures on the additional attempt, there could have been a communication error the first time although this would be rare.
